Now Shipping:  Lionel VISION Line 700E Hudsons!

Perhaps no other product in the history of Lionel’s line has represented our commitment to innovation better than the 700E Hudson.  Since its first release in 1937, the 700E has set the standard for excellence in O Scale.  Lionel’s latest release of this ground-breaking model honors that tradition in two ways:

First, we went back to what remains of the original tooling to retain the classic look and feel of this model – not a Hudson, a 700E Hudson.

Next, we added all the new features we knew would bring this old workhorse into the 21stCentury.

6-11218 Grey No. 5331

  • A swinging bell synchronized to the sounds
  • An opening smokebox with detailed interior
  • A swing-out front coupler, interchangeable with a fixed coupler for double-heading
  • An opening roof vent and window glass in the cab
  • Additional add-on details that enhance but remain true to the original model.
  • Flickering firebox and variable ash pan glow
  • Directional lighting, working cab and class lights
  • LEGACY Control System equipped
  • Realistic steam effects, including the whistle
  • LEGACY RailSounds synchronizing realistic sounds to nearly all aspects of operation
  • Two state of the art FatBoy speakers
  • A wireless tether to connect the locomotive and tender electronics

This isn’t your grandfather’s 700E!  But now you’ll know exactly how he felt when he opened that box for the first time.

Available in black (6-11209 – No. 5344) and gunmetal grey (6-11218 – No. 5331)
