Our Polar Express set has been one of our most popular trains in recent memory. Now you can expand your Polar Express layout with a new freight train!

The Polar Express freight set will add variety and excitement to your North Pole adventures.

This new set (6-30184) complements the O Gauge passenger set beautifully, and it should only stand to reason that the North Pole would have a great need for some freight service. Featuring our rugged 0-8-0, this freight train will look also look great sharing the tracks with your Polar Railroad or other Christmas trains.

The locomotive features:

  • Die cast body and frame
  • Powerful maintenance-free motor
  • Traction Tires
  • Silver metal rims on drive wheels
  • Upgraded valve gear assembly
  • Operating headlight
  • Operating steam whistle with On/Off switch
  • Puffing smoke unit
  • Working front and rear couplers
  • Engineer and fireman figures in the cab

The train includes a boxcar, gondola piled high with gifts and trees and a lighted caboose. All of the cars feature metal frames, trucks and working couplers. The caboose features metal ladders and toolbox and a working light. The boxcar has working doors. The color scheme of the train is similar to our “Polar Railroad” freight cars as well and the group would look great interchanged together.

The set also includes an oval of FasTrack and a CW-80 transformer, everything you need for your Polar Express adventure. The train set and the add-on car will all negotiate an O-31 curve. The set retails for $369.99.
