One of the most exciting and talked-about announcements in the 2012 Christmas Catalog is our new line of Peanuts® trains. The comic strip has become an American classic year-round, but perhaps never more so than in the upcoming holiday season.

If it ships in December, it’s pretty useless as an under-tree train, isn’t it? We’re kinda putting up our tree tomorrow, like everyone else in the USA.

Where is the train set manufactured?

Although our individual Peanuts cars are made here in Michigan, the set is made in China. The US facilities are already at full capacity and we don’t have the tooling for the locomotives, track, and transformer here at this time.

The engine in this set does not smoke worth a darn – the chinese quality is showing. Big dissapointment – can’t see more than a wisp.

The box says digital chuffing and bell sounds, but only when you buy it and open it do you see in manual stating it’s only equipped win air whistle, very disappointing
