Jeff Gordon set

Train sets will come decorated in exciting and accurate driver graphics, like this Jeff Gordon set.

Here’s Michelle Fannin, our Lionel NASCAR marketing manager to tell you more about them:

“We have to admit – it’s pretty exciting to be part of a company like Lionel.

“Since the company’s founder Joshua Lionel Cowan created the first toy train more than 100 years ago, the name Lionel has become synonymous with the railroader hobby and also an important part of the American holiday tradition.

“Now Lionel is building on that incredible history by rolling out NASCAR versions of its electric train sets just in time for the holidays!

Dale Jr.

Each train’s graphics are as unique as the drivers they represent. This is the Dale Earnhardt Jr. set.

“Featuring Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart, each driver train is produced with the exacting detail and superior performance that hobbyists have come to expect from the iconic Lionel Electric Trains brand.

“Each Ready-to-Run Driver Train is based on Lionel’s popular Scout Freight Set and comes with everything you need to set up and run your train right away. Plus, each O-Gauge set is designed with driver-specific graphics and accents so fans can show their support of their favorite driver. The gondola car, for instance, will hold two 1:64 scale die-cast of the driver’s two top paint schemes (cars included).”
